With a heart full of passion for fashion, accessories and the desire to inspire people around the world, mother and daughter duo Lena and Johanna Westerdahl founded the brand we know today as 7EAST. Their journey began with a dream of becoming the obvious choice among Sweden's clothing stores. Today, that dream extends far beyond the country's borders - 7EAST is not only a well-established brand at home, but also a rising star in the international fashion scene.
Inspiration – the world, nature and life itself
Every collection created by 7EAST carries a story. Inspiration is drawn from all corners of the world – from the pulse of the city to the tranquility of nature, from the blue horizon of the Swedish west coast to Eastern wisdom. It is in Halmstad, with the sea as a neighbor, that ideas take shape. Here, among the colors and scents of nature, lies both the design studio and the heart of the company: the headquarters.
The name that carries a story
"7" – a number of mystery and symbolism, a constant reminder of the power of transformation, from the seven chakras of life to the rhythm of the seventh wave.
"EAST" – a tribute to the Far East, its deep culture and teachings that both Lena and Johanna carry with them in their creations. The combination of these two words creates a perfect balance between the spiritual and the creative.
From Halmstad to the world
Today you can find 7EAST at over 300 retailers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Switzerland. Each product is a small reminder of the love for details and the courage to be unique. But the journey doesn't end here – Lena and Johanna are constantly charging for new goals, new boundaries to cross and new people to inspire.
