As two women behind the 7EAST brand, it may seem difficult for us to see our male customer, but for us it has always been obvious. To make it just as obvious to you, we will now tell you who THE 7EAST MAN is.
We have met "Johan", a man aged 35, and our 7EAST MAN for a coffee.
- Hi Johan, it's nice to meet you like this and it's nice of you to agree to this interview. We jump right into our questions. What do you work with?
- I am a project manager at a construction company, which means, among other things, that I make sure that our buildings function as they should, that there are personnel, resources and materials in the right place at the right time during the entire construction process.
- How exciting that sounds, it sounds like your days look different, fun! How do you usually dress in your everyday life?
- Really, I enjoy myself very much, both with the responsibility and with my colleagues. Speaking of clothes, I like to dress nicely, but I don't have a very good grasp of what is the latest trend. I usually have a pair of chinos, a shirt and a knit sweater for everyday. I usually put on a couple of matching bracelets too and if it's a bit chilly outside I hang a scarf around my neck. I prefer brown and green tones on the bracelets to black for everyday use, it feels softer. One of my interests is collecting different shoes. I spend time bidding on special editions on various auction sites.
Johan and we continue to talk, we get into music and how it can make you change your mood when you've had a hard day.
- Right now I mostly listen to old rock music. favorites from Queen, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen make me let go of everyday life. But I'm actually an omnivore. I listen to a lot of different types of music, both contemporary and past.
He takes a sip of coffee.
- I've always drunk my coffee black, partly because it's easier when you're out on the construction site, no sour old milk in the coffee exactly. And then I got used to it. I usually call coffee with milk adult gruel, he says jokingly. My interest in food is quite limited. I like to cook when my friends come over, then I prefer to cook a meat stew or grill some prime rib burgers. Otherwise, it might be a lot of pizza and kebabs if I'm honest. But I usually make up for it by playing a few rounds of padel in the evenings, he says and laughs.
